Just a short update,

From Nassau we have sent about 20 planeloads of Medical Supplies and will be sending more this week.

I think it important that Rotarians understand the cost involved.  In order to get them there we have spent about $40,000 on fuel (the planes and pilots are donated).  Fuel has now become very low in Haiti so we have a sub refueling station in our closest island to them.  We have also spent about $10,000 on cash to send down to our Rotarians so they can buy needed supplies locally.  All of that has come out of our local (Bahamas) Rotary donations as urgent and immediate requirements.  PDG Dick McCombe and AG Felix Stubbs have been instrumental in this process.

We still need doctors and nurses.  We still need water and food.
